april 2nd 2008 wednesday 5:46 pm tree bird / blossom / swirl i bought a winsor & newton compact watercolor set last weekend. i have yet to use it, but maybe i will go back out to the park where i took the above photographs. i broke the rewind knob in the car when i was opening the back to retrieve the film. part of it fell onto the floor of my car (i thought) so i was frantically searching for it. i decided to collect what i had and put it back together at my place. i ended up fixing it even though one piece was missing. how that works out i'm not sure. i went to go put my shoes on so i could leave to develop the roll. as i looked down to slip my foot in the right shoe i could see the missing piece inside.
