november 5th 2008 wednesday 10:41 pm one among many of my favorite flavors is pumpkin pumpkin pumpkin pumpkin pumpkin cheesecake: i have been buying the pumpkin spice creme frappuccino from starbucks entirely too much for the past few weeks. i decided that i try to satiate my pumpkin craving with something i made. this has a marshmallow-sour cream topping that i found when i was browsing through old stacks of bon appetit magazines. surprisingly, for someone who doesn't like eating marshmallows all the time, i didn't find it that bad at all. i especially enjoyed how it was almost fluffy like a marshmallow instead of being a thick glaze. my only gripe with the topping recipe is that it could have been a little sweeter.
