march 24th 2008 monday 6:30 pm i met this girl when i took my sister back to her college apartment. she opened the apartment door, walked in, said hi, and sat down next to my sister who was watching television on the couch. most of my sister's other friends i met did the same thing- walked right in. the apartment itself was small and semi-cluttered. the refrigerator looked bare with grape jelly, yogurt, applesauce, some leftovers, and the majority of items being alcohol such as smirnoff ice bacardi rum goldschlager patron silver. typical. i tried not to do a lot of shopping. i would say i was pretty successful at doing so. i bought a caterpillar (unagi roll wrapped in avocado) sushi roll at earth fare market and some ciao bella gelato to take home. i went into cook's corner saturday evening and finally bought an individual sized coeur a la creme mold with some cheesecloth. i haven't even made coeur a la creme, "heart of the cream", because i never had the proper equipment. now that i do it has been moved to the top of my list of things to make. before i left my sister's place the fridge looked a little more full. all of the alcohol was placed behind substantial food instead of condiments and leftovers.

It would be better if you tasted like chai tea.
