Sargeant First Class Lang and Sargeant Shirey came over yesterday at seven to meet with my parents. My mom and dad both talked to them. They talked about the benefits I would recieved and the job I would be doing. Then Lang went through my pros and cons list. Then they talked about my parents feelings about me joining: my dad dont want me to join because he dont think i can handle drill sargeants and the physical activity. he thinks the reason i dont play sports is because of the running and stuff but the only reason i do not do sports is because i suck at them and i always have. my mom started her speech with do either of u have kids? and Shirey was like yes a 4 yr old and a 6 month old. and she was like do they have all ten fingers and toes? and he was like yes. and she was like would u like them to keep all of them and he was like yeah and she was like that is my problem. i want her to have all her body parts. so they started talking about Iraq and stuff. and my mom explained to him her feelings and Shirey explained to herwhat he went through in Iraq. They also talked about Sargeant Garvson and the shit he has pulled. which is a lot and they think they can get Keenan out because of how they did it and possibly aaron can get out. well then mom informed sargeant Shirey that i disrespect her and that i do as i please when i please and Shirey response was that he thought i had a lack of discipline. and at the end when he was leaving he made me go put on my shoes and we talked bout how i have mom's support i just need to behave myself and do whatever it takes to make her happy. he also said a lot of other things and i have to call him Monday or before if need to talk before then. i also got to talk to mom beings she said i never talked to her about this so i was like well everytime i try to talk to u about this u blow up and ur gone and yeah but my voice kept getting agitated and Shirey made me stop talking and lower my voice before i could even finish the discussion. My mom told him i thought he was a god and Aaron told him i thought he was hot. Sry no disrespect but i dont think either. I just feel as though i am an equal with him but at home i feel like i am on the bottum rung.
