BUMBER MOTHER FUCKING SHOOT

Feeling: Special My First Ever Precious Guitar signed by all five members of Unwritten Law as of September 9, 2004 Tony Palermo (missed only remaining band member Wade Youman by a short while as Tony took over on August 11), drums Scott Russo, vocals Rob Brewer, guitar Pat Kim, bass Steve Morris, guitar Or Rather Rob Brewer Tony Palermo Pat Kim Steve Morris Scott Russo (You know, in that order and all) And YAY, while I was there the guy behind me in line said to me, "congratulations, you're the first person female and under 18 that I haven't heard say 'Ohmigod.'" He had an Unwritten Law T-Shirt that was awesome and is only available at live shows. I didn't have a lot of time or verbal skills to tell my sob story, so I didn't manage to get one free *tear* I probably would have bought one if I hadn't had to buy my FUCKING TICKET after scatter-brainedly leaving it at home in the confusion after Jordan's friends made Morgan ditch me. Oh yeah, and did I mention that as a result of taking the bus on such short notice I also missed the entire Unwritten Law concert? My FAVORITE FUCKING BAND playing LIVE in my hometown. For the only time with the current members ('cause let's face it, UL is a revolving door of members, and thusly I suppose they wouldn't play a lot of the "old stuff" anyway but I still wanted to FUCKING GO)! I got there about 15 minutes before they were supposed to finish, but security wouldn't let me in at the door because they "weren't letting people in yet." So I went down to the exit by the glass doors to see if I could catch a glimpse of them, but the place was empty - they had finished early. But then I ended up with autographs. That's cool. To tell the truth though, I'd rather have heard the music. That was a once-in-a-lifetime chance. Really, I'm hoping it wasn't. Maybe next time it won't be at the Seattle center, where there are signs posted reading "The Seattle Center prohibits dancing of a violent nature and crowd surfing because it can be dangerous." Fuckers. They have emergency medical teams on site, they don't really need to enforce that. They kicked people out and ripped up their tickets for FUCKING CROWD SURFING. It makes me angry, though I really don't care because I don't crowd surf. Anti-moshing rules are fucking dumb though, and I know of nowhere else that actually enforces them... Also, today I epiphanized that I am not to be called in this lifetime. Not by any divine power, at least. I suppose I have strayed to far from the desired path, and am being allowed to continue along the one I am on. A great relief, but at the same time a bit unsettling... It was my possible calling once, I had a purpose, now I may or may not. I will not get the glory of saving the world, not in this life. I can only hope that the situation will wait to arise until I am in the proper state of mind and spirit to stand and fight for whatever it is that may need fighting for. Yeah, that last part was just for me. No one has a fucking clue what I'm talking about, and I prefer to keep it that way for the sake of not sounding schizo. Anyway, g'night. ~ Beth PS. Today I got slightly high from amazing amounts of second-hand pot smoke at the Puddle of Mudd/Nickelback concert. It's amazing to see a republican band that's so in love with the west coast and pot smoke. Chad Kroeger was yelling the whole time for us to send that sweet smoky smell up to the stage. I wish I had had some pot... It was all around though, which was awesome. I scrounged and found a pink choker with shells which I gave to Morgan, a button that says something I don't remember and am too lazy to look at, several cigarette butts (I have a pipe after all, I have to use it for SOMETHING), and 45 cents. I probably found more stuff, but I can't really remember right now, my head hurts a bit and it's 1:34 in the morning. Night then
