Predicting downfalls

So this sounds like it would be depressing, except that its not. The point is exactly this; The end of Facebook will be all the crappy applications and their stupid invite this many people before you can suck my junk (thanks SD for sticking to your roots and not making life crappy), and the downfall of the United States of America will be our lack of ethic and follow through. Seriously, how can we expect to dominate the world when we don't want to do anything but piss people of and send all the people who are willing to work (i.e. soldiers) in to kill anyone who wants us not to be in there country. Honestly, lets stop being idiots people! I've strayed a little from the point, my bad. The real idea here is that if no one in America cares enough to do anything for anyone else, how can we expect to do anything at all. We are all so selfish that we want everything for nothing. With that mentality, crime makes perfect sense, and our extreme lack of work ethic, and the number of shoddy products on the market, is entirely understandable. Lets take a step to put a little bit more of ourselves into our work people! Lets remember that without everyone else, there isn't much reason to be us. Please, you don't have to care about me, but care about someone! Let's not stand idly with our hands in our pockets, waiting for someone else to fix things that don't directly affect us. If we don't, someone will fix things for good, and we won't like it. More will follow, but for now those are my doomsday predictions.

I agree. I don't want to join your vampire gang, I don't want to join Top Friends or iLike or Quiz Me!, and I don't want to support your basketball/football/croquet teams. Facebook has way too many applications. And groups. Why do people think that by joining a group called "Save the children in Africa!" anything is actually going to be done?
i'm scared too.
