Part story

{Bridget waved her hands and all her papers flew into a neat pile, her books slammed shut. She knew she had enough work there to last her another few hours but she couldn’t sit there working anymore, her brain was beginning to slow down, she needed something else to do. Just as she began to ponder what to entertain herself with, a small pebble came gliding through her window, over her bed and dropped with a small tink on the floor. She, with a puzzled expression, climbed on her bed and leaned out the window. She looked down towards the driveway and saw Liam there, a bright smile on his face. He waved ‘hello’ then waved the other hand which held a familiar book. Bridget climbed off her bed and rushed downstairs, leaving her fathers questioning look unanswered she rushed out the front door.} Bridget: I hadn’t even noticed it was gone! Liam: I figured that’s why I came to drop it off for you. Bridget: Thank you! I read it before bed, was bound to realize I forgot it. {She took the book and smiled. They stood in a slightly awkward silence before Bridget spoke again.} Bridget: So… Aileen told me the news. Liam: She did, did she? {He chuckled lightly to himself.} Yeah. It was a bit awkward really… Bridget: How so? Liam: Well, right after you left Vincent said he was going to walk to you home and left. So me and Aileen were just sort of sitting there in silence…drinking our coffee. {He shrugged.} She just… came out with it. “You know, I like you Liam…have since I first saw you.” I’m ready to bet that wasn’t true. Bridget: {She laughed.} Yeah, leave it to Aileen to try and be romantic. She’s always had something for you though. Liam: Well, she came out with that and I told her I kind of liked her too. After we got into the conversation I felt like I was talking to a tomato. Bridget: {She laughed even harder, Aileen was one who’s blush could put a rose to shame.} So you and Aileen are a couple… how cute, before ‘ya know it, we’ll see the two of you marching down the aisle! Liam: I’m not planning that far yet. {He smiled.} Well, I should get going, I expect she’ll be calling soon, after all… it’s already been ten minutes since the last call! {Again, they both laughed then Liam entered his truck again and drove off up the street, leaving Bridget standing on her door step.} Marion: Bridget, what are you doing? Come inside, it’s cold. Bridget: {She turned to see her mother standing with the door open.} Oh, sorry. Liam stopped by, {she lifted the book,} forgot it in the car. Marion: Well come on then, inside. {Bridget followed her mom inside, closing the door behind her.} Ellen: Look Bridget! {She held up a sheet of paper with numerous magazine clippings glued onto it for Bridget to see.} {Bridget took it from her sister’s hand and looked at it. It was actually pretty nice. She had cut out many different scenery pictures, a few animals and colored herself some, what seemed to be, fairies. The colors were very eye pleasing as well, orange, blue, violet, red, and a quite bit of green. Bridget turned and sent the paper gliding to her mother in the kitchen.} Bridget: Look at that mom, Ellen made it. It’s really pretty. {She noticed the broad and proud smile spread on her sisters’ face.} Marion: Oh wow, it is pretty. Beautifully done, Ellen! You should hang it up on your wall. {The collage slid off her hand and made its way back across the room and into Ellen’s hands.} Ellen: {She nodded proudly.} I’m going to, and then I’m going to make more. {Ellen clutched her work and raced upstairs to her bedroom.} Eric: Don’t forget the mess! Ellen: I know daddy! Bridget: I think I’m going to turn in already. Marion: So early? Bridget: Yeah. I’ll read for a bit then go to sleep. Marion: Alright then sweetie, good night. Eric: Good night, Bridge. {He peeked over the news paper and gave her an affectionate look.} Bridget: Good night. {She turned and made her way back upstairs, passing her overly joyed sister on the way back.}

Leaving Scene

That morning Thaniel lay on his bed after a short rest as he found himself unable to sleep for too long. He could already hear maids, servants and others already up and moving about the palace. He had even caught a few words from Vinod’s men as they gave each other orders. Despite the fact that sleeping late seemed unprofessional, Thaniel couldn’t bring himself to get up and join them. He could only lay in his bed, the bottle Kiran had given to him twirling in his fingers. The thought of causing his wife and future child’s quick demise for Kiran repeatedly made its way through his mind. The realization of what he was to do continued to hit him every couple of minutes, yet somehow is never sunk in as something wrong. If Juline was out of the way and he could be with Kiran, then what was the problem? He looked up suddenly as someone knocked at his door. He placed the bottle in the drawer at his bedside and stood to answer the door. “Good afternoon, Edmund.” Kiran was standing on the other side, a bright expression on her face. She was dressed differently today; she had on beautifully traditional dress of pink, magenta and gold. It was different to see her all covered and a bit more casual. Thaniel checked his watch, true enough it was already past noon. “Good afternoon,” he said, rubbing his face, “Sorry I didn’t get up earlier.” “It’s alright. Vinod wants to see you but I need to talk to you first.” After making sure no one was watching she slid into his room and closed the door. Offering no kiss of affection or comfort she began to talk. “In two nights we will be holding Pongal, Vinod’s family will be arriving in two days time and Vinod will have no one but them in the palace with the exception of the dancers. It’ll last for four days, but his family usually stay five.” With his duty still swimming in his mind, Thaniel did little to try and understand what Kiran meant, “And…?” “You can go home in those five days.” Thaniel’s thoughts came to an abrupt stop. Up until that moment he had only thought of how he was going to kill his own wife, not when. “Are you alright?” she asked, tearing him out of his second blow. He sat back down on the edge of the bed, the mattress puffing out under his weight. “Yes, I’m fine. Just… I wasn’t expecting it so soon.” Kiran could feel she was losing him, she was allowing him too much thought into it. She knelt beside him and took his face affectionately into her hands. Thaniel raised his eyes to hers, those beautiful globes of sand taking their effect. “Love,” she uttered the word as softly and sweetly as possible, “Rajeev is not a patient man, and you know as well as I that he has been courting me in his own… manner. We must move quickly before he interferes.” Again Thaniel thought back to the riches that littered her chamber, apparently Rajeev was one to let currency speak his emotions. He sighed and placed his hands over Kiran’s then nodded, “It’ll be done.” She smiled sweetly as if he has simply just agreed to bring home a fancy dinner rather than go home and kill his own wife. She placed a kiss on cheek and stood up, “Come, I’ll take you to Vinod.” Kiran led him into the large room where Vinod often relaxed and mingled. The large man was thrown comfortably among his giant pillows, his face beaming with energy and delight. No guards sat in the room with him which Thaniel began to find remarkable until his eyes fell on Abhiraj sitting quietly and stiffly against the wall. “Good afternoon, Mr. Brougham!” Vinod’s voice rose above them all as he laughed and waved for Thaniel to sit. Kiran bowed lightly and left the room. Thaniel did as offered and took a seat against a cushion across from Vinod. He felt slightly uncomfortable and still slightly drowsy. At the moment he wanted nothing more than to be alone and attempt to clear his mind before he had to leave. “So I see the birds were fairly quiet by your room this morning,” Vinod commented with a laugh, his men following mechanically. Thaniel knew perfectly well he was talking about his late awakening, “Yes, I’m terribly sorry. I found myself unable to sleep last night and spent most of it in the old record room sorting dates, debts and such.” “First unable to sleep, then unable to wake,” Vinod said causing another burst of laughter. “I hope you found no errors?” “Oh, no. All the records are in order and every debt has been paid.” “Good, good. Let me have food brought as you’ve missed breakfast.” He bellowed a woman’s name and an order Thaniel couldn’t understand then reclined back against his pillows. “Well, I brought you here to speak to you about our up-coming festival. Within two days my family will be arriving from their homes to stay five days. I will be holding our yearly festival Pongal here in my home but alas only my family and my dancers will be permitted to stay. Usually even the dancers would be gone but seems my family has grown fond of the entertainment they provide.” He took a moment to drink the continued, “So… in those five days, since no one else can be within my palace, I will rent you a room in a nearby hotel. They have very luxurious rooms and I’m sure you will enjoy the services they provide.” “Oh no, Vinod it’s quite alright-“ Thaniel was stopped as the woman Vinod had bellowed to earlier entered and placed a tray of enticingly smelling food before him. He nodded a thank you and continued, “There’s no need to spend money on a hotel. I can simply give my representative a call and he can provide me with one. It’s fine. When should I leave?” “In two nights will be fine.” He said. “Perfect,” Thaniel answered, a forced smile on his face. The two days had passed quicker than Thaniel wanted, but it was already the eve of the third night and he was packing his last few things for the five days he was to go home. He had tried to make the days pass slowly by spending hours in the record rooms, going through the books, checking the currency and balances, boring himself so the minutes took would take an eternity to form the hours. He had also spent a lot of time mingling with Vinod’s family as they arrived. He noticed his family were mostly a thick bunch, two of his brothers had even managed to grow thicker than Vinod. The two sisters that had first arrived were no slimmer than their brothers. Then came the children and the mother and father. His father was old and frail and quite thin compared to the rest of them, but his mother held the same shape as her sons and though she was same in age as her husband, she seemed more alive and energetic. All the children, both young and old had the shape of their grandfather and were lucky to have obtained the same attractive features Rajeev had. Most, including his mother, had the same kind disposition as Vinod and came off warm heartedly, Thaniel even felt almost sorry he had to call an arrest on him. That evening Thaniel had bid his good bye to the family and left to finish his packing as they closed themselves downstairs in the dance room. He had only caught a glimpse of Kiran before she disappeared behind the velvet curtains. Without sparing it a glance Thaniel took the bottle from his drawer and placed it in his bag, then gathered his things and left. Leaving a silent palace behind he tossed his bags into the back of his car, slid inside the drivers seat and drove off, the Rolls Royce’s engine roaring through the quiet street.

Seduction Scene

Listening to: Seabound- Without You
Feeling: alone
It was long past the hour and Thaniel knew Vinod, Rajeev and their men had been asleep for hours. He traded quietly through the halls, his socks meeting the marble floor beneath him without a sound. His eyes and ears kept attentive to every little sound, getting caught would land him in more trouble than he needed to be in. He had been lucky to avoid what little guards were out and avoid awakening anyone in the room he walked past. A bead of sweat rolled down his face, with every door he passed he was getting closer to his destination but his growing worry at being heard also grew. As he walked he bore no other thoughts than to reach the room he had been invited to and avoid getting caught in the process. Finally, just three doors away he stopped, he stared at Kiran’s door knob wondering what awaited him on the other side besides her presence. Perhaps it was a trap? Perhaps all of Vinod’s men waited there to get him, or Abhiraj to report him, or even Rajeev to claim Kiran his by a challenge. It sounded ridiculous, but was it really? He contemplated leaving, turning around and heading back to his chamber and sparing himself if it was a trap. But then what if it wasn’t? What if it was really Kiran that wanted to see him? She might’ve invited him with true intentions of being with him… Suddenly his thoughts were broken and his body jolted in surprise. “Mr. Brougham?” Abhiraj’s voice came from behind him. Thaniel’s heart raced mercilessly, his nerves caused him to near damn well faint. He had been caught, maybe it was a trap, Kiran was going to burst from her door at any second and claim he was going to her chamber to take her. He turned as calmly as she could on his heel, “Abhiraj!” He whispered, approaching the clearly confused and suspicious man, “I got lost again,” he muttered trying to seem embarrassed. “Which room were you seeking?” He asked, his eyes still scanning the hall and Thaniel. Thaniel thought quickly, “The study room,” Abhiraj cocked an eyebrow, “The one with the record books, from three years ago.” Abhiraj composed his expression, it was understandable. Thaniel had only been shown once the study with the older record books, he usually worked in the second study with the newer records. “I wasn’t able to sleep and thought I’d sort through some of the dates, make sure old debts are paid and such… harder to find my way in the dark.” His instigator nodded, “Off down this hall, to the right and it’ll be the fourth door to the left.” Thaniel smiled, “Ah well, I wasn’t too far off. Thank you.” He bowed and walked off down the hall he was directed through. He rounded the corner and stopped, waiting for Abhiraj’s foot steps to fade away before emerging again. This time without thought or second consideration, he quietly rushed to Kiran’s door and knocked. She answered the door immediately and ushered him in. “I heard you two talking,” she said quietly, locking her door. “Did he suspect you?” “I don’t think so,” he answered as he sat down on her bed. Her room was beautiful, much more than his, more even so than Vinod’s throne room. He suspected Rajeev had showered her in gifts and luxuries to please her and spoil her and make her feel like the princess she was to become. He also had no doubt it was a way to claim her his, the lavishes and extreme riches and endowments clearly she showed she was spoken for. Her bed was soft, round in shape and covered in sheets of silk and velvet, her entire chamber was decorated in colors of purple, auburn and gold; very rich and royal. Her floor was littered in beautiful rugs that seemed to have come from different countries, pillars of gorgeous marble, differing in colors from that of the rest of the palace, stood at each corner from floor to ceiling. Her room held no windows and so was lit by soft, calming lamps that stood at each corner in front of the pillars. The smoke of burning incense twirled in the room, filling it with the sweet smell of rosemary. Kiran turned from her door and laid her desert eyes on Thaniel, a sweet yet luring smile gracing her face. Thaniel’s eyes froze on her as she walked towards him, her thin; see through, belly dance skirt swayed in perfect skin with her hips and thighs. Her raven black hair was down over her slender shoulders. A golden tiara came down over her forehead, dropping a red gem between her almond eyes, accenting their color and effect even more. She walked gracefully up to him, her legs stopping perfectly between his. Her hands grazed slowly up his arms and stopped at his shoulders. Her left leg suddenly lifted from the ground and bent, her knee moved up from his inner thigh, over his hip and came to rest on the bed beside him, soon after her right leg followed suit. Her hand moved slowly up from his shoulder, over his neck and her fingers entwined slowly into his hair. Her lips, curved in a seductive smile, lowered perfectly onto his. Thaniel couldn’t help but fall into her kiss and take her. He placed firm hands on her hips and in one graceful, easy movement he rolled over onto her bed. He immediately took to placing soft, irresistible kisses on her neck. He took a hold of her waist and pulled her in towards his as she entwined her leg over his. All thoughts and worries of being caught, killed, imprisoned or any other morbid consequence flushed from his mind as she unbuttoned open his shirt and let her cool, slender, soft fingers enter and graze along his back. Kiran’s fingertips grazed suddenly over a clutter of fine, healed, glossy scars. She grinned and pulled away from Thaniel’s kiss. “Your wife is not so gentle either, is she?” She teased. Thaniel was wrenched suddenly and rather painfully with the thought of his wife, his pregnant wife. He frowned down at Kiran but rather than pull from his actions, he only took her and kissed her harder, bore more of his weight down on her frame. The dancer didn’t fight it but he could feel… sense she wasn’t to give herself up as he was hoping. She continued to urge him on, pull him further into her seduction, and erase more and more common sense from his mind with every move her body made. Finally when she saw in his eyes that he was lost to all but her she moved in with her plans. She wanted him and wouldn’t let another stand in her way. Again she broke their kiss but kept his attention by continuously letting her fingers slide along his back and nudging her hips against his. She brought his ear down to her lips and spoke, placing small kisses on it as she did. “Do you want me, Edmund?” She asked, her voice in a bare whisper, her soft breath sending chills through his back. As many times as he had done jobs with disguised names he couldn’t accustom himself to Kiran calling him Edmund, he wanted to hear his name, to hear Thaniel leave her lips, not a cover name. Still, lost in everything she had done and was still doing to him he could only nod in response. She moved her hands over his ribs, down his chest and back over his back. “You can have me…” She said. His heart raced ten times faster than it already had. A deep exhale escaped him at her words, in the moment he had wanted to hear nothing more from her. He placed and eager kiss on her neck, showing he was more than ready and willing to do what she pleased but her next words shattered him. “… but I promised to never give myself to a married man.” He lifted his lips from her neck and merely stared down at the pillows beneath her head and the strands of dark hair resting upon it. Despite the fact that he found it extremely hard to think clearly, he knew exactly what her words meant. He wanted the woman beneath him and she wanted him just as much… and Juline was standing in the way. The gentle movement of Kiran’s fingers broke him from his thoughts and brought him back to the current situation, “Edmund?” She asked quietly. He had to make the decision, he knew she had a plan and it was now the time to decide which road he would take. His mind ventured briefly to the thoughts of his home, his child, his wife, his room, his belongings but quickly it drew back to the memories of nights in the dance room. Nights of watching Kiran dance flawlessly before him and at some point for him. His body urged him on to the woman he knew he wanted and craved. Again, another brief and weak thought of Juline passed through his mind as he lowered his lips and kissed Kiran gently and softly on the shoulder, letting his action speak his response. She grinned, it had worked without fault and getting rid of his wife was no longer a problem. In a seemingly affectionate manner Kiran took Thaniel’s face and gave him a last kiss before moving herself out from under him and standing up. Thaniel dropped onto her bed, suddenly drained and emotionally burdened. She moved over to a small chest she had sitting on her vanity. She took its small, brass key and unlocked it then slowly pulled it open. Countless little jewels littered the bottom of the box, coins, rings, necklaces and other trinkets also filled the box. But among the litter of precious belongings lay a small, glass bottle filled with a deep, purple liquid. She removed it carefully from the box and walked back to Thaniel. Sitting on the edge of the bed she presented it to him. Thaniel gave Kiran an odd expression as he perked up on his elbow and took the bottle in his hand. “What is this?” “Poison,” her lips formed the word dangerously. His eyes moved sharply from the object and back to Kiran’s eyes. Her expression showed she clearly knew what she was offering, the danger and cruelty she was suggesting, yet her face showed no regret. “It’s extremely potent… and quick. She will feel nothing,” she continued to explain. As Thaniel’s eyes moved back to the bottle he reminded her, “She’s pregnant.” For once Kiran’s eyes moved away with a pained stare but her response came sharply, “It will kill them both.”

Dance Scene

Feeling: sluggish
“Ah! Mr. Brougham, please remove your shoes and join us!” Vinod bellowed from across the room as one of the females lowered a grape into his mouth. Not really focusing, Thaniel removed his shoes and made his way across the room, feeling the soft texture of each fabric through the thin material of his socks. His eyes couldn’t help but stray over the females forms as they walked by, only the terrifying image of an enraged Juline could pry him away from the graceful beauty and down to the portly Vinod. He took a comfortable seat next to the spoiled ruler and made himself comfortable as one of the women came over with a tray filled with and took her seat next to him. Quickly she took to serving him his own goblet of the lavender beverage and preparing the food to feed him. Thaniel felt slightly uncomfortable at having a woman he didn’t know feeding him as if he owned her, but at the fear of losing all the food on the tray and offending Vinod, he simply ate the food as she fed. “Well, how does it suit you Mr. Brougham?” Vinod asked, taking a large bite from a loaf of bread. “Please, call me Edmund,” Thaniel proposed kindly. “I love it. It’s a very exquisite and beautiful room.” “And the women?” He coaxed. “They would fall under the same description.” Vinod exploded into a hearty laugh, “Yes, beautiful aren’t they? They came back from home with me and my men, wanting to live rich and happy lives. Well, here they are, beautiful, rich, dressed in the best garbs, living a palace unlike any other and holding the most respect from a man any woman ever would.” He nodded and took another grape from the woman’s slender fingers. Daringly, Thaniel asked, “You mean they aren’t…?” “Oh, no! Never. They are dancers here in my home, they are each respected like queens and are never to be touched unless by their consent.” He took a swig from his cup and reclined further back into the pillows behind him. “Would you like to see them dance?” Vinod suddenly offered, his eyes focused on the band in front of them. “Well, only if they wish. I would love to see them.” Without a word Vinod clapped his heavy hands, stopping the band mid –tune and sending the women to their feet. He gave a quick command in a foreign language and almost immediately the music sprang to life, the women’s bodies following closely behind. Thaniel watched them dance, completely entranced with their movements, the way their curves seemed to flow perfectly in sync with the music. Again and again like a perfectly flowing river their hips moved in fluent circles, their hands snaking in, around and between each other, their legs took each swift movement with stride, not once faltering their goddess-like strides. Glimmering belts of gold hung from their hips, waves of the lightest fabric swam around them as they spun, their hair fell and whipped witch each movement. Everything had some effect to add to the mesmerizing dance. It lasted for another five minutes then came a clean, neat and perfectly balanced stop. The men broke out into applause as the women took thankful and blushing bows then walked back to the men they had been attending. Thaniel couldn’t take his eyes off his blushing maid as she sat back down next to him. “Was is pleasing?” Vinod asked, a proud smile plastered on his face. Thaniel tore his eyes away from the dancer, “It was beautiful. I have never seen such a dance. Graceful, perfect… words don’t justify it, nor the dancers.” Vinod laughed heavily, “I am glad you enjoyed it, and it flatters the women greatly. But, before we continue into the night I would like to show you one more beauty my palace houses.” Again he commanded something in his foreign language. Somehow the lights the dimmed from a burgundy red to a deep blue-purple, the entire atmosphere changed, fell silent and calm. The band began to play a sweet, slow, mellow tune then swiftly flowed into a mildly faster tune and as they did yet another dancer emerged from another curtain. She was one Thaniel had not seen yet and was, by far, the most beautiful of them all. She was dressed in garments of deep, plum lilac, her top laced with white violet strings of velvet. A belt of silver bells rather than gold hung decoratively from her waist, sending light sprinkles of sound through the room as she began to dance. Her movements were as fluent, graceful and perfect as the others if not more so. Again and again she dipped and rose like a cobra coming from its coil, every muscle, every inch of flesh moving in perfect motion with the inch of flesh that curved before it. Thaniel felt the hairs on his neck rise as their eyes met. She moved as concentrated, as best and as refined as before but her eyes did not leave his. She was beautiful beyond any compare, her large almond eyes were a hypnotizing desert sand color, lined with thick, dark, long lashes. Her skin was just near the same color, smooth and pleasing to the eyes. Her hair was pulled back into a neatly made bun, a beautiful veil lined with satin and beads covering it and falling down to the small of her back. No words forming in Thaniel’s mind could do this woman justice. Her beauty, her movements, everything he could possibly notice about her it was all beyond any words of any language. Suddenly Vinod leaned towards him in the middle of her dance, “Her name is Kiran. My son has had his eyes on her for quite sometime now, beautiful is she not?” Thaniel nodded, “She is.” It took him a few seconds to process what he had said, “Your son?” Vinod looked at him oddly, “Did no one tell you?” “I’m afraid not.” “I do, I have a son. Rajeev. He will carry on my family and home after I pass, with this goddess by his side.” He sat back against his pillows, allowing Thaniel no further questions. A glint of envy passed through Thaniel, but it passed quickly and soon he composed himself just as the song ended. Kiran came a perfectly done stop down on the ground, her forehead touching the soft floor, the fabrics of her clothes spreading over the surrounding pillows. She stood back up and took a bow then walked over to Vinod and placing an affectionate kiss on his cheek, she took her seat between him and Thaniel.

oOOOoo, last night on the Travel Channel they were talking about catacombs, but I was falling asleep so every detail was kind of fuzzy, but I remember one caught my attention. There was a church that they talked about that was completely decorted in human bones. This morning I felt like writing about it on me journal, couldn't remember the name but luckily Google be so helpful :3 It's called "Kostnice Ossuary" or Church of Bones, it is in Sedlec, the suburbs to Kutna Hora, just outside of Prague. It started out in 1278 when Cistercian abbot of Sedlec, Henry travelled to Palestine and the "Holy Land" bringing back a sample of dirt, which was later sprinkled on the grounds of his local cememtary, making it sacred. After that people thrived to have themselves buried or their loved ones buried there. Then, during the 14th century the bubonic plague spread across Europe, killing 30,000 people which all wanted a resting place within the sacred cemetary. The popular demand led to the creation of the ossuary in 1511. A half blind monk took the bones to be stacked inside the ossuary (which was located beneath the All Saints Church), to make more room for other bodies which were quickly taken up by the victims of the 15th century Hussite Wars. Then later a man Frantisek Rint, a wood carver and artist was hired to imginatively arrange bones in the ossuary. From his imagination came the Schwarzenberg coat of arms and a chandelier made of every bone in the human body. And in the four corners of the ossuary sat four ‘bells’, pile upon pile of bones carefully stacked with a hollowed center.                  I just found extremely interesting and absolutely amazing. It's gorgeous. Yes, I tend to have a very macabre imagination and interest >.> so anything with bones or gore peaks my interest. I shall do an entry on torture devices too! And perhaps one of Elizabeth Bathory ^-^ And Vlad if i'm not too lazy lol. But yes, that is the Kostnice for now. Catacombs are very wonderfully morbid things :3

Elizabeth Bathory

Listening to: watching- Mythbusters
Ok, well since it seems my diary is a bit on morbid subjects, I shall now betalking about the oh-so famous "vampiric" Elizabeth Bathory. I first saw her on someones page on Vampirefreaks.com, then on someone elses and then on a movie I watched sooo naturaly I was compelled to find out what was with her. Elizabeth's history is a morbid, disturbing and shocking little story. She was born in Hungary in 1560 to Anna and George Bathory, and into one of the oldest and wealthiest families, but also one of the strangest. Her uncle was known as a santan worshipper and her other cousins and relatives were insane and perverted (in a corrupt way. Elizabeth would soon later follow into the same state of insanity. At 15 years old she married 25 year old Count Ferencz Nadasdy, who changed his last name to keep her surname so she became Elizabeth Bathory-Nadasdy. After she married, they moved to the castle Csejthe. The Count spent a lot of time away from the castle and his wife, fighting against the Turks, and in doing so earned him the title "The Black Hero of Hungary." As Elizabeth was so often left alone, she began to admire herself immensly to kill time and even after a while began to take up young men as lovers, and at one point ran away with one for a while. The Count forgave her after she returned home. As another pass time, Elizabeth would frequently visit her openly-bisexual aunt and enjoy herself. Not very long after the Countess began to take an interest in the occult. Conviniently, one of her maids, Dorothea Szentes, was a witch and was able to teach Elizabeth in the ways of the craft. Both the teachings and the maid herself encouraged and enhanced the Countess' santanic tendancies. Soon both women became fond of torture and inflicting pain, they began to practice their skills when disciplining the maids for whatever they did wrong. Soon, Elizabeth not only had her witch, but three other accomplices: Iloona Joo (her nurse), Johannes Ujvary (her man-servant), and Anna Darvula (another maid and Elizabeth's alleged lover.) Together they practiced the macabre ways of torturing the young maids of the house in a chamber below the castle. In 1600, the Count passed away, starting Elizabeth's real reign of terror. A while before her husband died had been given a reality check that would cost the lives of many young women. One day as a maid was brushing her hair and she pulled too hard. Elizabeth slapped the young woman (in the hand or face, I see both on different sites)so hard that some of the womans blood splashed onto the Countess's hand. Elizabeth saw the flesh on where the blood had landed, turned smooth and youthful as the young womans skin. The Countess thought she had found the secret to eternal youth. Over the following 10 years, Elizabeth's accomplices would bring her an abundant supply of young women to torture, kill and to use their blood to bathe in. At times she would even drink their blood to get some "inner beauty", which is where another part of her "vampirism" came from. But soon Elizabeth began to realize that the blood of simple peasant girls, was having little effect on the quality of her skin. Better blood was now required. Elizabeth then started picking girls from some of the surrounding lower nobility. These noble girls were consumed in exactly the same beastly fashion as the peasant girls who preceded them. However, with the disappearance of girls of noble birth, Elizabeth was now becoming very careless in her actions. People who lived in the neighboring villages, had already begun to talk. And soon the rumor about the horror in Castle Csejthe reached the Hungarian Emperor. The Emperor then ordered Elizabeth's own cousin, the Count Cuyorgy Thurzo, who was governor of the province to raid the castle. On December 30, 1610. A band of soldiers led by Elizabeth's own cousin, raided Castle Csejthe at night. They were horrified by the terrible sights in the castle. A dead girl was lying in the main hall, drained of blood, another girl, who had her body pierced, was still alive. In the dungeon they later discovered, were several girls waiting in prison cells, some of whose bodies had been tortured. Below the castle, they found the bodies of some 50 dead girls. During the trial 1611, a register with the names of around 650 victims, was found in the Countess's living quarters. But the trial was largely just for show and to make the occasion "official". A complete transcript of the trial was made at the time, and it still remains today in Hungary. All of Elizabeth's four accomplices were sentenced to death. Only Elizabeth was not brought before a court and tried. She remained confined in her castle while her four sadistic accomplices were tried for their crimes. But she got her punishment, when the Hungarian Emperor demanded her condemn to lifelong imprisonment in her own castle. Stonemasons were brought to her Castle Csejthe, to wall up the windows and the door to the bedchamber with the Countess still inside. Here she would spend the remaining days of her life, with only a small opening for food to be passed to her. In 1614, four years after she was walled in, one of the Countess's jailers found her food untouched. After peeking through the small opening in Elizabeth's walled-up cell, he saw her lying face down on the floor. Elizabeth Bathory the "Blood Countess" was dead at the age of fifty-four.

Structures Of Bone

Listening to: HIM-Killing Lonliness
Feeling: blah
Ok, my digital imaging teacher wanted me to give her the link to my page so she can see the pictures of bones I have in the Kostnice entry, soooo I decided to go and find more. I found some really nice ones, decorations inside the Kostnice and other places. Like...the first picture is the coat of arms that was made inside the Kostnice. I only ahd the picture of the crown but yay, I found the whole picture. I LOVE the second one, just the way it looks. I couldn't really get where that one was from, but I think the Ossuary as well. Then a few are from the catacombs beneath Paris. All very very beautiful though >w

Hm,well, I haven't written here in a while. No one really looks at it I guess that's why o_O But I'll write a little something now. I'm in digital imaging and the next assignment I have to do requires zee pictures of friends or w/e so I must get batteries for my camera oooor find some way to do it with the teachers camera. But I don't know yet what crowd scene I want to photograph but this is an example of what it must look like. So I have to take the picture: print it out: trace it: scan it: and color it in on P.S. Should be fun, no? Si. I suck at drawing and will probably suck at the tracing so I can't wait to see how this all end sup lol. *excitedness*. I feel like doing a bio of someone or something, but I don't know how or what. Maybe King Henry the 8th? I just watched a docu on him the other day on national geo. Man that guy was crazy and slutty xD Yep. But I don't know. Oh! Wanted to do one on Vlad *points to picture over entry* Vlad Dracula or...Vlad The Impaler. Dun dun dun. Nice macabre story there as well. But I shall see, for now I'll find a way to occupy myself. Arrivederci :3

Fixed and Edited scene

Listening to: HIM - Face of God
Thaniel sat quietly and calmly in the back seat until finally the driver passed back the folder containing all the need information of his mission. Opening it he first read his own information; Name: Thaniel Woods Age: 32 Sex: M I.D. #: 67123 Rank: LvL 21 Assassin LvL 35 Spy Hght: 6’2 Eye Color: Brwn Wght: 165 Under the typed information was a picture of him taken back in his twenties. Usually included would also be the information of his spouse and his children, but being a level twenty one Gen. Assassin, the F.A.S.O. had deemed it dangerous for family to be mentioned in records that could possibly be found. On the next page he found the information he needed, the mission; Mission Location: Campi Del Ricco Already on the first line Thaniel turned to the driver. “Campi? That’s only an hour’s drive from here.” “Yes it is Mr. Woods. We said it was important, not far.” The driver responded with a blank but informative tone. “Would’ve helped if I could’ve told Juline,” he muttered. Mission: Disguised as a trained advisor you are to enter the home and organization base of Vinod Kumar. They’ve been involved in countless rumors of grave robbery and illegal trade/selling of cadavers and then pawning off any found jewelry. You are to gather as much information and evidence of the illegal operation and those in charge. Once we gather enough evidence to prove the case, we will move in for arrest and termination. Scheduled To Arrive: 12:00 a.m. He leafed through the other pages but found no other information on the man he was to go after. “Where’s the rest of the information on him?” “They haven’t found out enough about him to give you much more information,” he answered as he rounded a corner. “That’s why they’re sending you in, Mr. Woods. With so little information it might be too dangerous to send in anyone of lower rank. You’re professional and lethal-“ “Oh cut the crap.” “You can go in with little information, do the job and stay alive… all I’m saying.” Thaniel sighed, he was going in to meet a man he had barely information on to stop an organization he had no idea the size of and had to come out alive… Juline would’ve been thrilled. About forty-five minutes later the driver pulled over, the black car shadowed by a towering building next them. The two men riding in the back with Thaniel stepped out first then stood together as Thaniel stepped out into the dark. The two men emptied the cabs trunk and placed all of Thaniel’s belongings in the new car. The driver took no chances in leaving the vehicle and merely leaned over in his seat to talk to Thaniel through the window. “That is the car you will be using during your stay here, we don’t want to cause suspicion by dropping you off. The manor Do us well Mr. Woods, good luck.” He straightened up as the two men finished and slid back into the cab and drove off back towards town. The car sat quietly a few feet away, its silver coat reflection lightly against the thin moon rays. It was a new, unused Rolls Royce, a car that despite his large income, he had never had the pleasure to ride. Perhaps if he bothered Andrew enough about ruining his vacation, Thaniel could get his old friend to let him keep the car. He walked to the car and slid in to the drivers seat and knowing they were there Thaniel pulled the keys out from the glove compartment and started the car, its engine roaring loudly then softly. He smiled, the car might be able to pass as more of a lioness than his own wife. He checked his watch, 11:03. He still had an hour before arrival, but it was still a perfect time to arrive, being on time or early was definitely a chance for a good impression. He drove the car quietly around the corner and up the street until he found himself in front of the large, ivory colored manor. There were no front gates or wall, it was just a short flight of marble stairs, the large wooden door and the sidewalk. “Well… here we go Thaniel,” he muttered to himself and turned off the car, the front door opening as he did. Two men similar to the ones who had assisted Thaniel strolled out first, bodies relaxed and cool but expressions attentive and watchful. Seconds after another man came snaking out, tall, skinny, fine face and unwelcoming eyes, to greet Thaniel. The man made his way professionally down the marble steps and to the classy car. “Very beautiful ride,” he commented. Thaniel smiled, “Brand new, she is.” “Mr. Brougham I presume?” The tux’ed man stopped a few feet from the car, his eyes on Thaniel with false hospitality. “That’s me sir, would you be…?” Thaniel let the words trail off, he knew better than to say Vinod’s name outside where someone against him could be listening, The man snapped his thin fingers and the two men at door immediately took to Thaniel’s bags and began to take them inside, “No. He is inside awaiting you. I am Abhiraj.” “Edmund,” Thaniel replied politely. After the men emptied the car of bags Thaniel gave the keys to another, shorter man who drove the Royce off to park with all the other cars. As good a spy he was, his nerves still twinged as he entered through the doors. The room that met his eyes was magnificent, the walls were the same color ivory as the walls outside. The floor was decored with a large red carpet, brilliatn gold embroyders around the hems. A long, two foot high glass table stood in the middle of the room, the corners held up by egg white colored, marble elephants; each rearing their heads, trucks curved in an 's'. Pots of fresh, green, leafed plants lined the walls, beautiful crystal lights above them. Their shoes tapped gently against the marble floor as they walked off down a large hall, the walls again lined withe beautiful crystal lighting. Feeling: sluggish
Thaniel sat quietly and calmly in the back seat until finally the driver passed back the folder containing all the need information of his mission. Opening it he first read his own information; Name: Thaniel Woods Age: 32 Sex: M Rank: General Assassin LVL[5] Beneath the typed information was a picture of him, taken back in his twenties. Usually included would also be the information of his spouse and his children, but being a level five, Gen. Assassin, the F.A.S.O. had deemed it dangerous for family to be mentioned in records that could possibly be found. On the next page he found the information he needed, the mission; Mission Location: Mesetta Already on the first line Thaniel turned to the driver. “Mesetta? That’s only an hours drive from here.” “Yes it is Mr. Woods. We said it was important, not far.” The driver responded with a blank but informative tone. “Would’ve helped if I could’ve told Juline,” he muttered. Disguise: Advisor Target: Rajeev - The son of the rich ruler Vinod, already on throne. Mission:. Again beneath that were two more pictures. One of a rather plump, thick man with fading black hair and dark eyes, Thaniel presumed it to be Vinod, the father and current ruler. Next to him was another, more clear picture of a younger man with a thin, well structured, handsome face, full thick, black hair and the same dark eyes. This man, Thaniel knighted Rajeev, his good-as-dead target.
