News Hey guys, let me know what you think about the new layout. I'm sure not everyone is digging it as much as I do, but I'd still like feedback on it. Don't worry, I'm going to add a find/search option to the new index. Upcoming & Ideas
  • I'd like to make preferences for the index page, so that certain things will show up upon, well, preference. (EG- Active Users List, Latest Entries (Full), Latest Entries (Top [X Amount]), Latest [X Amount] Users, etc.) Let me know what you think.
  • Paid accounts will soon be available and will have more options as I come up with them. Don't worry freeloaders, I won't forget you. You'll also be able to upgrade from preferences if you'd like the better features.

will free account users get a new image manager? the current one sucks (no offense. When i upload a pic, i have to name it either top_left.gif or jpg or my_background.jpg or gif. if i use another file name its says only .jpg and .gif images allowed. They are gif and jpg images! i know this for a fact! then if i wanna change my background or any other picture when i delete the old my_background.gif and upload the new, theoldcomesup!

love the new layout. its amazing. and i like the idea of paid accounts and what not. one problem. why is everyone's font all big? cant we make those small and back to normal?
I don't think I like the fact that we can't see a persons user info on their own diary. What if they have pictures and a certain styling to it. I won't be able to see it. It'll be lost in translation.

the new layout is nice. notification for new entries on friends diaries would be indeed fine and hm pay accounts? any idea how much to pay? :D
i don't know the old layout and i don't really care about it. i like this place just the way it is. especially the free part.

On the file/edit/whatever bar, go to view, then text size, and select medium.
im really annoyed with the whole user info thing. I used to have pics and music in my user info and now none of it shows up. Whats the deal?? help me out here?

WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY IMAGE MANAGER, please improve the FREE one, it would be majorly appreciated. and that idea about the new entry thing is a good one. But for the mean time, can you fix my account picture problem???!!!???

I like this journal site..and everyone seems nice..those of who i've met in the past couple days. One thing I would like to see on here though, is a non expiring log-in even when you close the browser, to just remain logged in..blah, i keep on having to log in a lot. lol, anyways nice layout! =P

HEY everybody! major news! Scott, yo umay wnat to make an entry about this!/ If you have AOL 9.0, and you are having troubles with uploading new backgrounds but the old one still comes up, i know how to fix it! goto settings at the top of AOL in the toolbar, then click Internet[web]options in the first menu that comes up, a window will appear, then click the AOL browser tab at the top of the window then at the bottom hit do not store web pages...

No sure where to send questions, so here goes... Some users I see have a stationary pic for their backgroud. How exactly is this acheived? I was able to figure out how to put one pic above the section for my entire diary, but the background I'm unsure of.
Im still confused as if how to put a graphic background of my choice on my journal. Do you need a paid account to do so or something?

the new layout is wonderful.. at first i didn't like it. but it's prettyiful now that i'm used too it.
i think you're awesome. very fun and different main page, i mean it does say "for the hip and posh" or somethin to that effect... so thats how the layout should be! :o)

hey love! how are you? anywho, i love the new layout.. and i was thinking of something that you could add to the diary site here! you should add personal comments. where people can leave private messages on others diaries. because i have an html diary, and i'm sure people would rather do that than keep emailing me.. and if you need any help.. let me know and i'll do my best!

i dont like the new layout as much because the font is small and kind of hard to read, the colors arent very exciting, and it just isnt very fun. it is cool looking and all but it was a lot cooler before..at least i think

I think the new layout is fine, cause not much has changed. Just the front page.

This site is by far the best diary site anywhere.
it might be nice if there was a sort of friends page thing. where you click friends and on your diary you can read all of your friends' newest entries. just a thought.

Its ok, now that i've gotton more used to it its not so confusing, some of the text is a bit small, but the colours are good.

i dunno i don't really like the new layout all that much...its growing on me though. at first i wasn't sure what the huge white space was for and that was really bugging me but now you are using and i think thats kewl...and the picture on the left side of the page doesn't seem to make much sense and you can't read the words on it..

i think thats it. i dunno its still pretty kewl though. and i'll probably end up using sit no matter what anyways

i dont really like the new layout..i hate the opening page and when i try to search on Find Diary, it doesnt really work...i think it sucks, i want to be able to upload stuff without having a jpg thing a ma bobber (lol) and yea..but i dunno..its still the same except few minor adjustments, i juss hope it improves with more features..oo and have on the opening page like codes we can use, i have problems finding them

I'd like an option that shows you when someone on you friends list makes a new entry. Even just a dot, or sign that says "New" would be cool instead of going through every friend hoping there's something different. Slap those who don't like what you're doing.

I think we should be able to have mood icon sets. That would be really nice. Or possibly we could upload custom ones.
