I NEVER SAW YOU UP THERE, CAUSE YOU NEVER MADE A SOUND, IF I KNEW WHAT YOU WERE UP TO, I WOULD'VE SHOT YOU DOWN. The next few days passed slowly. Now, once again, it was Monday. The world seemed to move too fast, making Eryn dizzier and dizzier as she trudged into school once again. Nothing had changed. Not her school. Not the world. Not even her lack of virginity. Eryn closed her eyes and moved to the back of her mind. There was a moment when Mick was taking her, that she looked at him into his eyes, and fooled herself into thinking she was in love with him. But she felt nothing, not even what was happening to her body. She lay there, staring at him, realizing he had not been staring back. Eryn opened her eyes and once again stepped into a building with lack of education; with nothing but teenagers having sex in the janitor's room with partners they would never speak to again, smoking pot in the restrooms, and attractive boys shoving younger ones into lockers. She hated that school. But of course, she hated everything.
