wow. my homework is the bomb yo Kelly Govt The Presidency If consulted by aged white Anglo-Saxon protestant men that have been dead for almost two centuries on the laws governing the presidency, I would, with a gracious heart, thank and extol them for the care in which they carries out their duties as the founders. The “natural-born citizen” clause of Article II rings out loudly now, and those that can look past the fad of entertainers-gone-political most appreciate it. While we appreciate their work to prevent a fascist state (that, of course, they hadn’t yet seen; they sure do think of everything, don’t they?), military experience would not be such a bad job reference to add to every candidate’s resume. After all, we expect the leader of America to be an American, so how can we not expect the Commander in Chief of the military to not have a minimum experience in the military? The “advice and consent” of the Senate that sprinkles Article II, including “advice and consent” over diplomatic power, and appointment power and just about every power granted, may just protect us from an ambitious Caesar Augustus or Stalinist; we are indebted to you. Do not fear that the president may become a “tool of the Senate,” can we not trust that there is at least one competent man in a group of 100 when, somehow, an amateur surpasses your tight laws? One, question, why just four years? Not that I call for too many more, but five seems fitting, not too many, but a little more time to try to accomplish a complete agenda. The power to pardon specified in section 2 is vague, this power should be under the “advice and consent” that controls all else. Although to the point of complete ambiguity, the Constitution is clearly unclear for a reason; any changes I would suggest, with the 200 years experience that seventeen year old government students have, would be imagined with a presentist mind and under the influence of fluctuating current political attitudes, which you tried to keep from controlling this very government.
