Enrolled at Regent college yesterday. Got my ID card; in my photo I look like shrek but at least it's not as bad as the Connexions card photo. My tutor is one Phil Irving, a maths teacher, and the courses i'm doing are; Chemistry AS, Biology AS, Psychology AS, Statistics AS and Science for public understanding AS. The latter is part of an enrichment thing the college does. It was either that, general studies or volunteer work. Hehe.
Went in town with Lucy today. Didn't spend all that long together but it was cool.I Bought a new tee and zip-up hoodie from Topman and had a really nice white chocolate mocha at Starbucks. ;] Then Sarah turned up and we went with her to get her nose pierced. Big yey. -.- Then I caught the bus home.
Tomorrow Ollie's meeting me out of work and we're gonna nip into town. He wants to find out about a job at Fatface and i'm hopefully gonna get a new pair of shoes from Schuh.
That's all i've got for now.
Surprised my PC didn't randomly crash while writing this. It's been doing it over the past week and we can't figure out why. Argh.

The Shindig last night was rather spiffy. Although getting my results was a bit of an anti-climax, wasn't as exciting as I thought it'd be.
Anyway here they are:

Not too shabby eh. ;]
Parents come home tomorrow. I need to hoover and have a bit of a tidy round. Plus my room still smells of cigar smoke >_<

Keeping busy. |

Gets a bit strange in an empty house. ;o
On Sunday Anton came round for a bit. We played on this 2player Gauntlet game for the pc and completed it in 4 and a half hours. After he'd left, I had some dinner then went out with Ollie and that. After a few hours they all came back to mine to watch a DVD and they ended up sleeping round. It was pretty fun.
That brings me on to Monday. :]
I went down Cadets for abit. Helped them clean up the boats and then took Loughborough's Champ for a drive up and down the river. I managed to amaze the two Loughborough cadets in the boat just by stemming the lock. That means just driving up to it, then stopping so the front of the boat is a few inches away from the lock gates and you aim to be central. After doing that I reversed out and went back down the river. They said I was 'well good'. What's scary is one of them holds the same powerboat qualifications as me, and he was so impressed by something so simple and easy.
Aanyway came home and then went out again for abit.
Today I met Lucy in town and we went and got some ingredients for the chocolate cake. I also bought a Larrikin Love ticket for Ollie. We came back, made a cake which tastes amazing and just generally had a nice time together. She got picked up for her guitar lesson. 5 minutes after she'd left she sent me a text asking if she could come round for a bit. That put a huge smile on my face. I love enthusiasm. ;]
So we just spent another few hours snuggling on my bed and watching Friends. Hehe.
Tomorrow i'm working for most of the day, then, hopefully, everyone's coming round for a few hours or to sleep over. I hope to God that we managed to get enough alcohol. Or the point has been lost. ;[
I guess I shall next update on results day.

I haven't got work again until Wednesday. I only have to work two days this week and the hours aren't all that long. That'll be a bit of a small paycheck. A taste for what they're going to be like when I start at college. I'm gonna miss getting that £80-90 a week. ;[
I spent today with Lucy. We met in town and just had a look round, ended up in Ice Mango where I had an amazing strawberry milkshake. ;D Then I was in one of those moods where you just want to buy something. Hehe. So we went into Forbidden Planet to have a look at the manga, but I didn't really see anything I wanted, and they didn't have any of the Beck series anyway. ;[
After that we went into Game and played on that Brain Training game for the DS. My brain age was in it's 70's. But that's because I didn't really pay much attention as I was trying to see where Lucy had gone at the time. She found me and went on it and her brain is in it's 40's. I wasn't happy. I didn't want to part with that much money so I didn't buy a game. Ended up buying a 'mitten' to put my DS Lite in instead. Hehe. ;]
After that we walked to Abbey Park and just sat cuddling and smooching which was rather nice. Then we split up and went home. I had a very nice time. :]
Tomorrow morning my parents are off on holiday so i'm home alone for the week. It shall be an experience i'm sure I will enjoy. Hehe.
Thursday is results day. I'm anxious/excited so we'll see what thursday brings. But either way i've planned a little gathering in my back garden with some stock from bargain booze. It'll be nice to get our little group together again because it's been a while.
So yeah, that's all i've got for now. |

Tonight is reminding me of those Winter Nights. I think it's just because it's starting to get dark earlier. The smell of incense was coming from downstairs. And in a few weeks the summer will come to an end.
It's strange the feelings it's bringing back. And I can't put into words just how it feels. It's just one of those things. Like how one scent brings back hundreds of memories.

Met Lucy in town after work yesterday. Walked around, had a look around the shops. I bought the Larrikin Love tickets. On the ticket it says 18+ gig but the website says 16+. If I don't get in i'm gonna be well pissed off.
After town we walked to Abbey Park and hung out there. There were a group of emo/scene kids. Worse than chavs I tell you. Two ambulance people and a police car turned up cause one of the girls had taken something and kept collapsing and stubmling around. Idiots.
I kissed Lucy in Abbey Park, just one of those moments where we looked at each other and it felt right. But I dunno if it does. I'm not sure if it's cause she's the first girl i've been with since Dayna, although that shouldn't make a difference, but something just feels strange. I don't think it's going to be one of those relationships where everything feels special and amazing. It'll be nice. But I dunno. Might have too high expectations from the last relationship I was in. =/
I guess not all relationships are going to be as good as others. Just something i'll learn over time I guess. |

So went to the gig last night. Charlotte called for me and then we met Sam and Kt at the bus stop. Charlotte told me about some of her issues with Simon and I couldn't decide whether they were worth worrying about, or that they shouldn't make a difference. So I see what dilemna she is in.
We went to McDonalds before the gig. It really scares me. So many weirdos in society today. Really does scare me. But I got to play with the car out of the happy meal so that was cool. Haha.
We got to the gig, and I saw Lucy so I went over and said hi. Then we sat together for a few hours talking and holding hands which was nice. ^_^
Then With A Story came on stage and the lead singer Ross was like 'Right then lets get everyone to the front..Where's Luke-Paul..Yeah get up here you!' Everyone in The Shed just looked at me I was so embarassed, hehe.
After a few more sets I had to go, otherwise I would have ended up stranded alone. So I said bye to Lucy, and she hugged me and told me she didn't want me to go. That was cute hehe. So after a long good-bye I gave her a kiss on the cheek and went. I didn't want to be too forward or put her off straight away so I played it safe. :]
Work today was ok. Was on collection all day, didn't get complained at. ^_^

For the sake of looking back; I went on HMS Campbeltown for three days the week before last. :]
Today was a bit like Christmas really. ;D
I woke up and my order from bodyjewelleryshop had arrived. I bought a squishy black 8mm plug with 8 or so beads for £5. The plug has a hollowed out bit at the end where the beads slot in. Meaning I can change the colour depending on what I fancy. It's nice. :] At the moment I have this funky green bead in.
Now that i'd sold my BMX for £30 and my Nintendo DS for £60 (thank you Leicester Mercury ;D) I had enough money to buy myself a DS Lite. (I had enough money anyway, but because it was a bit of a material desire considering I already had a Nintendo Ds, I didn't want to spend my hard earned wages on it.) So I went to argos and bought a black one for £90, £9.99 off due to staff discount. ;D The decision between white and black took me stupidly longer than it should of. Anyway while I was there, one of the other not-so-new starters told me that the uniforms had finally been delivered. So I went round the back and got it. I have a blindingly bright blue short sleeved shirt and a long sleeved red one. They fit nicely and they're not too bad.
It's weird how I write so much about nothing, and nothing about so much. ;o
Also awaiting Kt's letter explaining things. *shrug* Not really needed but shall be fun to read at the least. :]

Went with Gem, Hattie, Paul, Mike and Louise. It was a good day. ^_^
Didn't like Nemesis, that made me feel sick. But all the rest of the rides were cool. Air and Oblivion were awesome. Shame the pictures were crap. Heheh.
Over to Loughborough cadet unit today. Gotta be told what's happening on Monday. Going away for three days on HMS Campbeltown. Sailing from Liverpool to Portsmouth so should be cool. Change of scenery.
I'm a wuss and still feel dizzy from Alton Towers and i'm real hot. ;|

Maybe it'll become a regular thing. Heh.
I'm feeling ok this morning, I like the whole cool and damp weather that's going on. Makes me feel nice and calm.
I have work later, short day today though, i'm only in for three hours. Saturday i'm in for five. Gets quite tiring hauling stuff out of the stockroom. Hopefully they'll put me on collection for a bit. I'm trying to be extra social and friendly while i'm there in the hope that they'll train me on the tills sooner rather than later.
Went to Nottingham for a wander round with Gem, Hattie and Paul yesterday. We were supposed to go Alton Towers but we decided to give it a miss because of the crap weather. Bought a new plug from Kazbah when I got back to Leicester. It's 8mm *shh* can't let my mum know. I didn't really want to go up to 8, but 6 seems too small and I can't find much jewellery at all at 7mm. I'm struggling to get it in, so i'm going to have to use my pen as a taper. Luckily it's the right size and everything so i'll try that in a bit.
Won't be seeing Kt again before she goes to Spain, and then she doesn't get back until the Wednesday after next. Hm. I can see this thing taking longer to progress than I thought.
