Listening to: Kritickill Feeling: amused So its been 2 weeks since the wreck and I figured I needed to clarify for every one that I'm alright. Still get a few people calling me like I just died so I dont want any one worrying about me every thing came out good. Aaron already has a new vehicle and our doctors visits turned out good. Was just sore for about a week. Well UTD is doing a phone athon for this week and next week and I was asked to participate in it. I agreed to do it because its to try get more students to come to UTD..... hahaha, you got me, its because they are paying me $10/hr to do it. Well today was my first day to do it and I left more messages than I acutally talked to some one. Which surprised me when I acutally talked to a real person to were a couple times I hesitated in talking. The more and more I did it the more I realized I sound like a recording. Well I didn't help it, was getting bored so I helped my sounding like a recording along. You know changing your tone at random times and crap. Have too keep things interesting. I also lost a bet to Ngyen and owe him a meal at babes. Any one want to go with us? I'm sure you can tag along. He bet me he could get more ppl to come to utd than me. He had a grand total of 3 and I had 2. I should mention this was out of like 40 people, lol. Its mainly cause its too early for any one to say where they are going, but still kinda funny to me. I get to find out when my show is this Wednesday. Getting kind of excited about it. I found so many good local bands so every one should listen when it starts. I hope you'll enjoy it. And if you like that show you should listen to Lacy's show too, I'm sure you can find out a time for hers when she finds out on her myspace. She has my favorite show on radio utd. Mainly cause when I listened to it last semester she played alot of music that I played too. So she rocks!!! I think me and Ngyen are going bowling on Sunday and are looking for more people to go so you should give me a call if you want to. Ngyen knows a place thats 50 cents a game after 7 so thats when we are going. And I do mean any one who wants to go, it should be fun. anyways I'll talk to every one later and hope every one has a great day Donald

So I'm Not Dead

I'm not dead but pretty shooken up. Today me and Aaron came back from Edna here to dallas after our break at home for christmas. Well its only a 6 hr drive from Edna to Dallas and we left at 7 am this morning and didn't get to Dallas till 7 pm. What you ask made this trip 6 hrs longer than it should have been. Well when we made it to Waco we were an intersection on a feeder road going towards I 35 if I remember right and a truck plowed into the side of us. Aaron was driving his mustang for those who dont know what he drives and we had the green light and a few cars had past infront of us before we crossed the green light. so it wasn't because he thought he still had the green or was just barely hitting the red or anything. Infact he was going the wrong way up a one way street. He hit just behind the drivers side seating hiting the rear wheel and the back half of the door going about 40mph and did not hit the breaks until after he hit us. It really messed up the car and threw us in over a 360 spin in which we ended up almost hitting a telephone pole. We didn't notice the truck until the grill was about a foot away from the car which was no time to really do any thing to prevent the crash. Luckly Aaron had the right reflex and accelerated when he saw the truck which push us just forward enough so he didn't hit the car straight on. If he had not did this the truck would have hit directly in the drivers side door and with the height of the trucks bumper off the ground it would have missed the roll bar inside the door and would have tore straight through the car. Which would have severly injured Aaron or killed him and it would have push the car side ways instead of spinning us straight towards on coming traffic and the telephone pole we almost hit which would have injured me as well quite significantly. After the hit we both climbed out of the car through the passenger's side, since the drivers side was so smashed in that there is no way you'd ever get it open, we were really shook up and didn't really know what to do first. I found my phone and it took me a bit to call my parents which I should have waited a bit so I didn't scare them like I did and Aaron did the same. The cops showed up emdiately with out us calling so that was nice. As far as getting hurt Aaron said his upper back and neck is sore but not too bad. When I first got out of the car my right knee was hurting pretty bad to were I laid on the grass for about 10 mins till it stoped hurting but its fine now and doesn't look to be bruised. It was just hit pretty hard on the impact. Along with my knee my right arm took most of the hit on the side of the door and its pretty sore right now and was really swollen in one part for the most of the day but most of the swelling has gone down now. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow morning cause I feel that I'm going to be in alot of pain when I wake up. Our minor injuries are not much to talk about but in the process of hitting us the truck spun us in to a motorcycle that was riding along side us a little ways back by the passengers rear side of the car. The rider was thrown of the motorcycle at some point in the about 20 to 30 ft slide that it took away from us and when we made it to him after the intial shock he was laying on the ground not moving much. He could talk but he didn't move really at all and he was cut up in a couple places on his arm. The paramedics came in and rushed him out to the ER I presume and we have not heard back on his condition yet but we are hopeing he is alright and it has been in the back of my mind since it happend worring if this stranger who I do not know his name is alright. I can only hope for the best and I do not think I will find out what happend to him. The driver of the truck imediately appologized and took full responcibility for the accident and I have nothing against him and was glad that he handled it that way. Yes it did suck that he turned the wrong way and hit us and all but it could have turned out a lot worse and he was admiting to his mistakes. Well after that we waited in Waco for 4 hours for Aarons parents to get to there from Edna and they brought Aaron his Mom's car to drive until its all sorted out. Tomorrow morning Aaron and I are going to the hospital and get checked out to make sure there is nothing wrong with us and to also have a record of it for his insurance. So all in all its been a very long day which could have turned out a lot worse so I'm happy to be alive and I'm really happy to have Aaron alive and well cause I don't know what I would have done if I saw him injured or what not. That would have been too much to take. Anyways thats enough for now and now I'm going to include a bunch of pictures of the mustang so you know how bad it was.

Listening to: Gary Kyle - Lone Star Tears Feeling: excited Well like my last post said I've been looking for bands to play on my show next semester. With the help of some friends (Big help from Andrew from System Overload who helped me find half the bands from the list) I've found quite a few bands that I want play on my show next semester. Still taking recomendations from any one who wants to give me some. Almost every one of these bands are local, I think 3 are not. Listening to: The Magic Numbers - Love Me Like You Feeling: cold Wow its cold. Just thought I'd let you know that. Its been forever and a day since I've wrote something new so I just thought I'd do a bit of an update. I'm staying up in dallas for most of the christmas break, which I both like and dis-like at the same time. I like it cause I'm up here with my friends with out having to go to classes so I can just have fun. Also I get to work 40 hrs a week so I can gain some extra money while I'm at it, so that means I'm at the Student Union alot this break if any one wants to come see me. But I miss my family and getting to spend this time with them. I wont get to put up any christmas lights this year with my dad. We always went way over-board with them. Any one whose seen National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and saw the lights that they had in that movie knows were my dad got his inspiration from. We always covered the house in litteraly about 5000 lights. The yard around our house was always lit up at night didnt need a flash light or anything. I'll have to go see some christmas lights around here or something to see what other people did. Also lately I've been trying to find some new music to listen to. Mainly been looking for non-main stream music that I can play on my radio show next semester. If any one has some sujestions I'll more than apreciate the help. I'm working on making a new video for my website now. Hopefully it wont fall through and I'll let you know when its through and posted. Till Next Time Donald

Listening to: Alter Bridge - Find The Real Feeling: burned-out I have come to the realization that that I have been angry and have had hateful thoughts in my mind most of the time over the last two weeks. Although I have good reason, considering what Melissa did to me, I'm really tired of feeling like this. This is not who I am and I'm not going to let some one who did not care about me and treated me the way she did to make me be like this. I'm tired of wasteing my time being mad at her at work and thinking of ways to possibly make her mad. She will have her's coming to her and its between her and god now. I'm not going to be rude or hateful any more. It's not who I am and it makes me un-happy. She can do what ever she wants but her actions are no longer going to affect the way I feel. She is a bad person and I hope for her sake she straightens up some time in her life. I just want to be happy again and I have a lot on my slate along with this to bring me down and I dont want to feel like this any more. From now on I'm going to be happy and do things that make me happy. I filmed Julie's football game and System Overloads concert last week and relized that I miss filming things like that. I havn't really worked on making videos lately and that is one of the things that I enjoy doing a lot. I just want to get back to being me. I'm not a hateful person, I'm not mean, and I generally like every one. As far as relationships goes, every time I look for one I just end up loseing. So I'm not looking any more. If something happens thats great but trying to find some one just ends up disappointing me cause I'm not the kind of guy most girls want. I'm just going to be me and see what happens. Listening to: Fall Out Boys - Chicago is so two years ago Feeling: pissy We'll effective my birthday (today) I am no longer in a relationship. I went to work today, I didn't take off cause I didn't want to really celebrate my 21st birthday on a monday, and today I work with Melissa. She was wearing a ribbon around her neck and gave some bull-shit reason that she felt like wearing it tonight and I believed her at first. But then later in the night while we were working it moved some and I could see the hickey it was hideing underneath it. So yeah she cheated on me last Saturday and thats how I found out. She claimed she was going to tell me after work but thats still pretty fucked up even if she was to tell me on my birthday that she cheated on me. I dont understand how that could happen especially since I really felt like I could trust her more than any of my previous girlfriends. And if she wasn't attracted to me any more, which I can't see how she lost that so quick as strong as it all started out, why couldn't she tell me and at the least if she was attracted to some one else and that was going to happen she could have called me then and broke up with me then so I'd least have some respect for her. She's lost all of my respect and trust now and made this a really shitty birthday. Thats all I feel like saying now. Till next time Donald

Listening to: Bowling For Soup - Ohio Feeling: happy Well it’s been a very long time since I updated but I have gone through some very tough times this summer. I can't really talk it about it on here but it has been the toughest time of my life and those who know what it is I went through understand. I still think about it a lot but I have found ways to deal with it all. Which brings me to some good news, first of all I got a job finally like 4 weeks ago, and yeah I know I'm slow about updating you on that. I work at the student union on campus as a Student Manager. It pays $8.50 an hr and sounds important but all it really is, is a shift leader. So that was good news and helped me get my mind off things but just recently some thing even better happened. I've had a crush a girl named Melissa for the past few weeks and I know she knew but I didn't know if she liked me or not. Well last Thursday I found out she did and since then we have been dating, so I'm no longer single. So things are starting to look up and I'm happy again and it has been a long time since I have been. Till next time Donald

Feeling: hurt This has been a very bad week for me. Some one who I've always looked up to is being accused of some very bad things. I don't want to see them apart. I don't know what to believe but I know nothing is ever going to be the same. Why now, why is this all coming out now? I'm trying hard to deal with this all but I don’t know if I can. It helps being around my friends but its hard to make my self do anything. I need more time.
